Sorry to have been so quiet this weekend. I have been trying to master ( or even get to first base with) the CAD program that I downloaded for free from www.alibre.com. It has a even bigger plus in that its got some very good tutorials that come with it, even if 1/2 the time you don't know what the hell its on about, why you are doing something, where the button you are looking for is hidden, or where the picture you just spent 30 minutes on has vanished too. Apart from that, it seems to be OK to use.
Now, what sort of project do I want to try first? That loco that no-one has ever made? a wagon underframe or bogie? or maybe just some windows..
