Advice for the young

Just a wee note here to all you out there re goings on of late on my workbench.

It is NEVER EVER EVER a good idea to start taking a loco apart at 11 PM at night.
The good news (well, for the lady of the house) is that tonight 'Der Room' will be tidied as I continue the hunt for a 3mm square retaining clip that's gone on holiday somewhere on the floor, where it bears an uncanny resemblance to the black plastic offcuts from Peco wagon chassis.

Where your usual lightening quick reflexes blurred by sobriety??

No, my reflexes only tend to deal with 1 item pinging at once.

It'll all become clearer once you shift that piece of fluff!
Or better still look for something else you've dropped in the last year or so, bound to find it then.

And just to make you feel better, the dropped part thing never ever stops!
