I received a surprising phone call last night. The new owners of North yard (Rodger and Christina) have been contacting those of us with outstanding orders. No idea how they found me, but I was surprised, as was the lady of the house (who often wonders why odd women are ringing me at night). Anyway, they are only running the business part time at the moment and are just getting things sorted out. Heres the full E-mail for those who have not seen it.

This email is to let you know that North Yard Model Railway Parts is now under new ownership.

We have taken over the business from the Estate of the late Graham Selman and have re-located the business to Blenheim.

We are presently setting up stock and assessing current stock levels to ensure good supply of products to customers.

If you have sent an order through to North Yard prior to 17th September 2010, can you please re-send your request to us to follow up on.

We look forward to your continued support and we will keep you up to date with developments at North Yard.

I applaud them for acquiring A/The key company for the hobby in the country (and not letting it go off shore). I must pop over the hill and have a closer look at some point.
